Lent is here and so is our Rice Bowl campaign! This year, we’re especially emphasizing Rice Bowl as a vital source of funding for the ministries that serve our neighbors in need. Your participation directly supports programs like our parish Food Bank Garden, helping provide fresh, healthy food to families in our community.
Rice Bowl invites families to come together during Lent to practice prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as one parish family. Through this program, families grow in faith while learning how to fight food insecurity both locally and around the world. 75% of donations support international agricultural, health, and education projects through Catholic Relief Services. The remaining 25% stays right here in Western Washington to fund local anti-hunger initiatives including efforts like ours.
